- 7,800 mAh battery The larger battery of the two TOUA skimmers is rated for 3 hours on battery power alone.
- Up to 10 hours with sunlight Solar plus battery operation is rated at up to 10 hours, and shade or cloud brings it back toward the battery-only figure.
- Surface-only cleaning role It collects floating leaves and insects at the water surface and leaves the floor and walls to a pool cleaner.
- 4 L basket Debris collects in a 4 L basket behind a 180 µm standard filter.
- Overnight charging Its charger takes AC 100–240 V and outputs DC 5 V / 1 A, giving a full charge in about 6 hours.
- Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Both wireless links are provided, with the app's functions confirmed in the quotation.
Description
The TOUA SK03 is a solar-assisted robotic pool skimmer from Nanjing TOUA Robot Technology. It floats at the water surface and gathers floating debris such as leaves and insects into an onboard basket before it can sink to the floor. Like any skimmer it works at the surface only; floor vacuuming and wall cleaning are the job of a separate robotic pool cleaner.
Its defining figure is the battery: 7,800 mAh, rated for 3 hours on battery power alone. With sunlight on it, combined solar-plus-battery operation is rated at up to 10 hours, a figure that depends on the weather and on how much of the pool sits in shade. Mains charging uses a DC 5 V / 1 A charger (AC 100–240 V input) and takes about 6 hours, which makes it an overnight job.
Debris collects in a 4 L basket behind a 180 µm standard filter, and the SK03 connects over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. TOUA rates it for any pool size. Dimensions, weight, the app's functions and the exact equipment supplied are confirmed with the quotation.
Against its sibling, the SK01, the SK03 trades basket space for battery: 7,800 mAh and 3 hours battery-only versus 5,200 mAh and 2.5 hours, but a 4 L basket versus 7 L and a 6-hour charge versus 2.5 hours. Choose it where longer runs without sun matter more than how often the basket is emptied.
Key Capabilities
- 7,800 mAh battery: The larger battery of the two TOUA skimmers, rated for 3 hours without sun.
- Up to 10 hours with sunlight: Solar plus battery operation extends the run on bright days.
- Surface-only role: Collects floating debris; it does not vacuum the floor or climb walls.
- 4 L basket, 180 µm filter: A compact basket behind the standard 180 µm filter.
- Overnight charging: A DC 5 V / 1 A charger fills the battery in about 6 hours.
- Bluetooth and Wi-Fi: Both wireless links are provided; app functions are confirmed with the quotation.
This model is offered on a quotation basis. Configuration, accessories, integration scope and delivery schedule all change the final figure, so pricing is confirmed per project rather than listed.

Frequently Asked Questions
No. The SK03 is a surface skimmer: it collects floating debris at the water surface and does not vacuum the floor or climb walls. Pair it with a robotic pool cleaner if those surfaces need cleaning too.
Its 7,800 mAh battery is rated for 3 hours on its own. Solar plus battery operation is rated at up to 10 hours, which depends on sunlight; shade, cloud and short winter days bring it closer to the battery-only figure.
It pairs the larger battery with a DC 5 V / 1 A charger, a lower output than the SK01's 8.4 V / 2 A unit. A full charge takes about 6 hours, so it suits charging overnight.
The SK03 carries the larger battery (7,800 versus 5,200 mAh) and runs 3 hours on battery alone versus 2.5. The SK01 has the larger basket (7 L versus 4 L) and recharges in 2.5 hours instead of 6. Both share the 180 µm filter, Bluetooth/Wi-Fi and the 10-hour solar-plus-battery rating.
